Lloyd Rollins has given his backing to Mark Wiltshire for the staging of the Champion of Champions 2 dominoes competition which is set for today at Rona Place, Ogle.
At a simple ceremony held at Trophy Stall, Bourda Market, Rollins presented the third place trophy to organiser Wiltshire.
Rollins, an ardent domino fan, urged Wiltshire to ensure that the level of discipline is always of a high standard and wished the teams well. He added that he is always happy to be involved in the sport, while Wiltshire expressed gratitude to Rollins for his input.
The tournament is only open to teams that won tournaments for the 2019 season, however Wiltshire informed that a number of guest teams will be also accommodated.
Entrance fee is $12,000 and at stake are cash prizes, trophies, medals and hampers.
Teams are asked to be on time to facilitate a prompt start at 14:00hrs.
Teams can call Wiltshire on 659-8672 for registration.
