The Titans Table Tennis Club in a release to the media has indicated a busy weekend with the hosting of the JGS/ Viva Water Open two-player teams’
challenge tomorrow from 09:00hrs on the Third Floor of the Guyana Red Cross Society headquarters, Eve Leary. Registration will cost $2000 per team.
In addition, four players from the Titans Table Tennis Club in Isaiah Layne, Thuraia Thomas, Krystian Sahadeo and Niran Bissu departed Guyana last night for a three-week tour to the USA, where they shall participate in the prestigious JOOLA North American Championships that will serve off from November 29 to December 1 in Maryland.
While in the US, the junior rackets shall also play in two other tournaments; the Westchester Tournament from the 23rd to 24th November and then the AACCT Tournament on the 7th and 8th of December. The players have spent the last two weeks participating in a High Performance Camp conducted by ITTF Certificated Level 3 Coach and Course Conductor Christian Lillieroos of the USA.
