The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) have confirmed that the usual November International race meet will be dubbed ‘Circuit of Champions’ this year and will feature a 23-race programme on November 16-17 at South Dakota Circuit, Timehri.
Next month’s race meet will serve as the final leg of the SR3 championship and a total of 11 radicals are confirmed to line up at the South Dakota track with eight of those cars from overseas.
Four cars will be coming from the ‘Land of the Flying Fish’ Barbados that will ship out tomorrow, while three competitors will ship their vehicles from Trinidad & Tobago and the eighth competitor will come from Jamaica.
The three local competitors confirmed for the radicals showdown are Mark Vieira, Kristian Jeffrey and Calvin Ming who had reset the circuit record twice last year. In addition, a full field of machines is expected for the local Choke Starlet Cup, Miracle Optical Street and Prem’s Electrical Sports Tuner classes along with groups 2, 3 and 4.
The championship winners of the Choke Starlet Cup, Miracle Optical Street Tuner and Prem’s Electrical Sports Tuner are set to pocket $500,000 each.
