The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) in its ongoing efforts to set a solid and holistic platform for the sport will on Wednesday of this week sign a historic Football Development Memorandum of Understanding with the Denmark Football Association (DBU).
President of the DBU, Jesper Moller, will lead a three-member delegation to Guyana, which will also include Andres Hoj – Manager of the Presidential Office and Ms. Eva Pasquier – UEFA Head of International Relations.
Also making the trip on behalf of Concacaf would be Mr. Howard McIntosh – Senior Project Manager of Concacaf. GFF President Wayne Forde has disclosed that he is very excited to be closer to signing this historic MoU that would further consolidate the ongoing efforts of the GFF to streamline the sport.
Forde also hailed this historic move and noted that all the details would be shared on Wednesday
October 16 at a Press Conference to be held at the Pegasus Hotel.
“The GFF Executive Committee has undertaken to expand its international relationships and we believe that a partnership with one of the leading football nations can only bode well for the development of football across Guyana. We’re excited to enter into this long term partnership and look forward to a fruitful engagement with the DBU in the coming years.”
