The Nand Persaud Group of Companies has organised yet another Horse Race Meet which is set for Sunday November 3rd and would be promoted by its Sky Plus Incorporated Promotion Group.
The seven-race card, dubbed, ‘Nand Persaud Karibee Sprint Classic’ will be held at the Company’s racing facility, No. 36 Village, Macedonia Estate, Corentyne, Berbice.
The company boasts the only horseracing facility where the horses run in a straight line from start to finish and has the complete package with racing track, promotional group, race horses, and stables.
Over $4M in cash, trophies and other incentives are up for grabs with races again being contested over 880 and 660 yards. The feature event will be for horses classified G3 and Lower over 880 yards or 4 furlongs for a winning purse of $225,000 and trophy.
There is an event for H3 Maiden and Guyana Bred Open animals for a winning take of $200,000 and trophy over 3 furlongs. The Guyana Bred 2 year-old Maiden horses are set to compete for a winning take of $150,000 and trophy over 660 yards.
The event for animals classified J and Lower also has a take home prize of $150,000 and trophy over 4 furlongs. There is an event for L Class Open horses over 880 M for a top prize of $100,000 and trophy.
A race has been organised for L Class none winners which will see the winner collecting $100,000 and trophy over 880M. There will also be a special race for those horses that did not place in the two L Class races for a top prize of $100,000 and trophy over 660 yards.
Champion jockey, trainer and stable will all be rewarded with trophies and other incentives compliments of the Mr. Ramesh Sunich of the Trophy Stall.
