Falcon and Toucan House were declared joint champions when Morgan’s Learning Institute held its Inter-House Swimming Championship on Friday last at Colgrain Pool. Both teams finished on 154 points each while Macaw House placed second on 102 points and Raven House ended in third position on 65 points.
Chike Nurse of Falcon House won the 50m Boys U12 Freestyle ahead of his brother Choike Nurse of Macaw and Govinda Prasad of Raven in that order. Andel Sampson of Falcon House claimed the 50m Boys U14 Freestyle while Nicholas Persaud of Macaw House took the runner up spot and Ezekiel Anderson of Raven House finished third.
The 50m Boys U16 Freestyle went to Devon Boston of Falcon; Ezekiel Vypu of Raven took the runner up spot and Michael Morgan of Toucan placed third. Ronaldo De Abreu of Toucan won the 50m Boys U18 Freestyle ahead of Jaden Jones of Falcon and Warren Daly of Raven respectively.
Kayle Barrow of Toucan captured the Girls U12 50m Free, Kayla Barrow of Toucan won the U14 category, Leslie Daly of Macaw carted off the U16 division ahead of Princess Giddings of Macaw. Thea Henry won the U18 segment.
Kayle Henry of Toucan won the 50m Girls U12 Breaststroke, Kayla Barrow of Toucan captured the same event for U14 Girls, Thea Henry of Macaw claimed the U16 trophy while the U18 top spot went to Tatiara Peniston of Toucan. Thea Henry placed second and Tamia Talbot of Toucan finished in third position.

The U18 segment was taken by Ronaldo De Abreu while Levar Pieters of Macaw finished second and Warren Daly of Raven claimed third spot. Kayla Barrow won the 50m Girls U14 Backstroke event while Leslie Daly of Macaw took the top podium spot in the U16 category ahead of Titian Peneiston of Toucan and Karese Lloyd of Falcon.
The U18 division was won by Davie Destiny of Macaw while Mariza Joseph of Toucan took the runner up spot. In the 50m Boys Backstroke events, Andel Sampson won the U14 category while Devon Boston of Toucan captured the U16 segment ahead of Ezekiel Vypus; Ronaldo De Abreu took the U18 title with Levar Pieters second.
Kyla Barrow captured the 50m Girls U16 butterfly while Karse Lloyd of Falcons won the U18 division. Chike Nurse and Jaden Jones of Falcons placed first and second respectively in the 50m Boys U12 Butterfly, Andel Sampson won the U14 category and Ronaldo De Abreu took the U18 division.
Falcon House won the 4x50m relay event while Raven House took the runner up spot and Macaw House finished third.
