The Double Header play-offs of the 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 cricket Event have been set for Sunday October 6 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana and CPL announced that ticket sales for those will commence of Friday September 20.
The much anticipated tickets will be on sale online at www.cplt20.com and from the Guyana Amazon Warriors ticket office located at 238 Camp and Quamina Streets in Georgetown and will be open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
Prices for both matches are; Grass mound – $2,500, Orange Stand – $3,300, Red stand – $5,500 and Green Stand – $6,000. The Providence Stadium is the only International cricket Stadium where the Stands are known by colours and not names of outstanding former players and Officials.
Just one ticket is needed for both matches and spectators can also decide if they want to come for one game only. The first game is scheduled to commence at 11:30 AM and the second at 3:30 PM as the four top teams battle in what is known at the eliminators.
One ticket being used for two playoff games taking place on the same day represents an excellent value for Guyanese cricket fans who are encouraged to purchase early to guarantee attendance.
Fans are reminded that the cost of tickets for children older than two years will be the full price and that seats are numbered and patrons must sit in their designated seats.
It was also disclosed that tickets for Mound and the Orange stands have been sold out for the two final preliminary games involving Tallawahs on October 3 and TKR the next day but tickets for the Red and Green stands for those games are still available.
Anyone caught selling tickets in the vicinity of the Stadium will be held by Law enforces with their tickets until the conclusion of the games.
Defending champions and three-time winners Trinbago Knight Riders Guyana Amazon Warriors are both virtually assured of participating play-offs. (Sean Devers)
