The KMPA Foundation has announced the launch of a podcast programme this month. This podcast will be found on the organisation’s website www.KMPASPORT.org and will feature conversations about sports with special emphasis on Track and Field.
Founder and organiser of the KMPA Foundation, Andy Medas-King, noted that the reason for the podcast was to give people access to what it takes to get the games going and because of limited access to media channels when it comes to thanking sponsors and volunteers.
In the correspondence to Kaieteur Sport, Medas-King stated that having regular conversations with the athletes will only benefit the entire country since the KMPA Foundation is about bringing changes and implementing new standards.
On the platform, education will be discussed, advice would be given and training schedules would be talked about among other topics.
This Monday, the first podcast will be uploaded to the website, followed by weekly updates every Sunday.
In the press release, Medas-King reminded athletes to register for the third annual junior Olympic Games online at meetregister.org or KMPASPORT.ORG.
There’s a $1,000 registration fee which is going to cover the costs of the live streaming services and also the development of the ground.
The KMPA Foundation is also appealing for other sponsors who would be able to contact the organisers directly via the website.
