Blairmont Community Center Cricket Club, fresh from a highly successful summer cricket camp, made sure that their teachings did not go in vain when they easily defeated Everest by seven wickets.
The two teams clashed in a 50 overs cricket match recently at the Everest Cricket Ground, Georgetown.
Everest won the toss, elected to take first strike and were dismissed for 130 in 39.3 overs with Anthony Khan 40, Ruel Prashad 32 and Varun Mangra 14 being the top scorers.
Bowling for Blairmont, Right arm off spinner Zaid Baksh was unplayable with figures of 4-7, while Rashad Gafoor took 2-15.
In Reply, BCCCC reached 131 for seven in 38.3 overs with Satya France undefeated on 36, Altav Blaram made 30 and Romeo Deonarine 19 being the principal scorers.
