Allow me to hazard a guess that Mr Bharrat Jagdeo is calling the poll by our latest polster that indicates very little support for Irfaan Ali nothing but a fake poll, while at the same time accepting that part of the same poll that says 85% of respondents reject David Granger.
In his opinion of the poll, Mr GHK Lall asks what is the point of this latest poll, since no one, in Mr Lall’s opinion, had any doubt in the first place that Irfaan Ali is the worst pick that could have been made by the PPP Central Committee.
Just wonder if Bharrat Jagdeo also sees GHK Lall as fake too.
Can’t have your cake and eat it too Bharrat. You picked wrong, and you know that you did, simply because you hope to be some power behind some throne.
Face it man, you’ve had your time, and your skill sets are not what’s required at this crucial point of our country’s history. Not at all!
We need a President who will not be self concerned. A one of a kind President like Cheddi was, who put the many, way before the few.
I used to know the Oldsters of the PPP quite well years ago Editor. Men and women who, also, like Cheddi their teacher did, put the many, before the few. I have little doubt they’ll stand tall again, and do the right thing, even as they say thanks to Bharrat for all he may have done for them in his own self centered way.
Stakes are higher now than ever before. Calls for a man who’s not afraid of the limelight, who’s not afraid of crocodile or ‘massa’, but also one who’s not like some who’re fighting, with little substance to their political being, to hog the media arena every inch of the way, every day.
In short, we now need our own Guyanese form of a Pepe Mujica (of Uruguay) as much as we need oxygen to breathe.
Select right the second time around ladies and gentlemen. It’s our Guyana that’s up for grabs.
Yours truly,
Eddie DaSilva
