Eagles Football Club of Stewartville remain the team to beat when they racked up their third win in as many matches in the GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power U-17 League / West Demerara Football Association leg at the Leonora Track and Field Facility, West Coast Demerara on Friday.
The young Eagles edged Den Amstel 4-3 to ensure the latter remain without a point from their three matches also. Leading the Eagles were Romel Medas (20, 42) and Roynaro Nedd (39, 58) who both netted a brace each.
Responding for Den Amstel were Jamal Robinson, Junior Redon and Chris Smith with goals of their own in the 25th, 31st and 60th minutes.
