The members of the Bachelors Adventure-Paradise/Melanie Damishana Culture, Youth and Sports Club who were participants of the recently concluded Youth Department Recreation Day Camp will be hosting a Back to School Sports Festival on Sunday at the Paradise Playfield, East Coast Demerara from 09:00hrs.
The day’s activities which include inter block football, softball cricket, athletics and novelty events, is supported by the Youth Department of the Ministry of the Presidency.
According to Coordinator, Aaron Blackman the participating teams will be drawn from Paradise, Bachelors Adventure, Melanie Damishana, Haslington, Golden Grove and Victoria. Trophies and medals are at stake for the top performers.
