Sir Everton Weeks CoE U-17 face Alleyne Sec in Final today at Kensington Oval in the33rd annual Sir Garfield Sobers International Schools 40-over Cricket tournament after winning their semi-final clashes on Friday, while Guyanese Schools; Queen’s College and the Business School finished 10th and 15th respectively as QC lost to Australian’s 360 Cricket Academy and Business School beat Trinidad’s Queen’s Park Club.
At Weymouth: 360 Cricket Academy beat Queen’s College by 3 wickets.
Queen’s College 140-9 in 40 overs (Vickash Jaikaran 37, Navindra Persaud 22, Idris Allen 17 not out, Elnathan Sukhnandan 13, Ronaldo McGarrell 13, Ronnico Ross 3-13, Lachlan Shaw 2-5).
360 Cricket Academy 141-7 in 38.1 overs (Jed Collins 31, Ben Jones 26 not out, Anay Baruah 24, Hugh Sheriff 14 not out, Lachlan Shaw 10, Gary Ross 6-24).
At Lears: The Business School beat Queen’s Park Club (T&T) by 17 runs.
The Business School 84 all out in 26 overs (Ushardeva Balgobin 17, Tathesh Shivrattan 10, Mikkel Govia 3-18, Sameer Mohammed 2-5, Shiva McCoon 2-9, Jabari Phillip 2-13).
Queen’s Park Club 67 all out in 28.5 overs (Josiah Smith 19, Darrien Dodds 18, Brandon Volney 4-20, Tathesh Shivrattan 3-14).
In SEMI FINAL 1 – At Empire: Sir Everton Weekes CoE U-17 beat Combermere School by 37 runs.
