Mix Up were crowned champions of the Father’s day four-game dominoes competition which was held recently at Turning Point.
Led by 10 games each from Gilbert Mendonca and Rawl Peters, Mix Up marked 55 games to win the final ahead of All Season’s Angels with 48 and Turning Point on 41.
Barbara Marshall and Andrea Welch made 11 games each for the runner up side, while Sandra Welch scored 10 and June Watts nine for Turning Point.
All Season’s Angels won the semi final encounter with 52 games, while Turning placed second on 46 games and Royal Kings finished third on 40 games.
All Season’s Angels were led by Nickie October with 11 games while Watts made the maximum 12 games and Eon Peters nine for Turning Point. Selwyn Prescott and Orin Favourite were Royal Kings top players with nine games apiece.
Mix Up pocketed a trophy and $70,000, All Season’s Angels received $50,000 and Turning Point $20,000.
The competition was organised by senior organising secretary of the Georgetown Dominoes Association Mark Wiltshire.
