The Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation expressed delight at yesterday morning’s Handover and Presentation Ceremony hosted by Dental Imports Guyana Inc.
Local practical shooters will for the second year be given an opportunity to participate in a Sport Shooting Competition which will be once again exclusively sponsored by Dental Imports Guyana Inc. (DIG Inc.) and hosted by the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation.
Assistant Secretary/Treasurer, Mr. Andrew Phang, in accepting the kind sponsorship, conveyed thanks to the Board of Directors of DIG Inc for making this an official event on the shooting Calendar, expressed appreciation to DIG Inc. for their continued support of the G.S.S.F. Mr. Phang announced that the Match will be open to all experienced Practical Pistol Shooters of Guyana and advised competitors to pre-register. He further noted that with sponsorship from DIG Inc. prizes for the Top Three Overall Shooters in each division will be up for grabs. Also present at the modest Handover Ceremony was Company Secretary of Dental Imports Inc., Dr. Kevin Jodah and Secretary of the GSSF, Mrs. Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon. Dr. Pravesh Harry commented that Dental Imports Guyana (DIG) is pleased to continue to sponsor the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation’s Practical Shooting match and pledged DIG’s commitment to the Foundation and its safe sport shooting activities.
