Atlanta Mayor honours Eddy Grant

Eddy Grant is currently visiting Atlanta Georgia to Launch his CD “Plaisance” to the USA Market.

This is Grant’s 15th album. It features 14 tracks. “Plaisance” is very much a concept album, paying homage to his birthplace and a place that still holds a special place in his heart.
Whilst in Georgia, Eddy visited the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center and the James Brown Exhibit which is housed at the Augusta Museum. He also attended the “Guyana Day” festivities at Turners Field State Stadium.
Numerous promotional opportunities will have Eddy busy whilst in Georgia. He will be appearing on CBS 46 Atlanta (Interview), an interview with award winning presenter Rose Scott on WABE 90.1(NPR) and WAOK Radio.
On Saturday May 25, last, Eddy was presented with a Proclamation by the Mayor of Stonecrest, Georgia, Mayor Jason Lary marking Saturday May 25, 2019 as Eddy Grant Day in Stonecrest, GA, USA.
Saturday will see Eddy appearing at the Stonecrest Library for an intimate speaking event which will be accompanied with a POP UP Exhibit titled “Eddy Grant – The Journey So Far…”
