The Guyana Lawn Tennis Association on Friday last received a sponsorship cheque from the
Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry for the most anticipated tennis competition of the year, ‘The GBTI Open’. This is the 10th edition of the GBTI Open.
Over the years GBTI has remained committed towards sponsoring the event annually. The GLTA is very appreciative of the bank’s commitment as it relies on sponsorship such as this for continued tennis development in Guyana.
The event is slated to run from June 7th – June 23rd at the bank’s Bel-Air Park facility.
The competition will feature the following categories:
Ladies Open Singles
Men’s Open Singles
Junior Girls Open Singles
Junior Boys Open Singles
Novice Medley Singles
Men’s over 35 Singles
Men’s over 45 Singles
Ladies Open Doubles
Men’s Open Doubles
Mixed Open Doubles
Men’s over 35 Doubles
Men’s over 35 Doubles
Novice Medley Doubles
