GPHC celebrates 20 years as a corporation
The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation will celebrate 20 years as a corporation this month.
Before 1999 it was known as the Georgetown Public Hospital and was run solely by the Ministry of Health.
After it became the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation it was run by a Board of Directors.
The anniversary will see a week of activities, including of a day of sports.
