Massy in advanced technology joint venture
Massy Technologies (Guyana) Limited has announced that is partnering with Schneider Electric., to offer local businesses a new suite of products and services aimed at improving reliability and lowering the operating costs of IT (Information Technology) Infrastructure and facilities operations management.

The announcement was made during a cocktail reception at Marriott Hotel, Friday night.
Schneider Electric, which is a multinational corporation based in France, is a global specialist in the digital transformation of energy management and automaton, according to Jason Sahai, General Manager of Massy Technologies (Guyana) Limited.
A release from Massy Technologies states, “Following recent announcements regarding Massy Technologies (Guyana) Limited’s expansion of IT solutions into managed services and cloud solutions, [the two companies] can now offer higher levels of service and efficiency.”
The partnership is expected to benefit Guyana in sectors such as healthcare, construction/engineering, manufacturing, professional services, tourism, entertainment and facility management.
Massy Technologies, through Schneider’s ITD Channel Partner Programme, recently achieved Elite Partner Status by meeting a set of prerequisites. The certification allows it considerable access to the corporation’s suite of technologies.
Schneider’s Sales Director for the Caribbean Region, Manuel Rodrigues, said that the two companies had, in their deliberations, an initial alignment of vision on what the real needs for Guyana are, in the whole, and how their partnership can support those needs.
By extension, the partnership spans all English-speaking markets in the Caribbean region, from a business courtship which has been in motion since mid-2018.
Rodrigues explained that the company is in the business of providing transformative technology innovation that could help businesses in Guyana conserve on energy and get the best value for its resources.
“How do I automate? How do I achieve greater power efficiency and control? Massy Technologies are offering our entire line of solutions for the IT business as well as non-IT environments where power control protection and management are necessary,” said Rodriguez.
“We are solutions provider and we are like minded in our thinking.”
