We the stall holders/owners of East Ruimveldt market seek to highlight the plight that affects our daily bread at the aforesaid market. One such is the roadway in the market, which is in a deplorable state for longer than we can recall and is getting worse with each passing day.
We also seek permission from the Clerk of Market (or whomsoever is responsible) to upgrade our stalls, at our own expense, to accommodate our vending.
These upgrades could see the raising of the roofs of the stalls and/or us extending the structure to accommodate another floor. These upgrades will see the council receiving more funds as stall rentals would increase hence more revenue for the council. We are asking for an audience with whomsoever is responsible to initiate such a venture.
Yours sincerely,
Stallholders/owners of East Ruimveldt Market
