Ahead of tonight’s final round of matches in the Guyana Football Federation/Exxonmobil International Futsal Festival, Caribbean Cargo shipping company and Survival Supermarket have joined the list of sponsors for this historic event.
Daphne Forde of Caribbean Cargo based in Washington D.C. made the presentation to a representative of the organisers, Earl Paul in Maryland.
According to a release, the organisers expressed thanks to the entities who have kept faith in their venture which is turning out to be a huge success thus far.
Survival Supermarket has been giving away two hampers each night to two lucky females who are successful in a skill challenge.
The fustal festival, which is a collaboration between the GFF and the Kashif and Shanghai football promotions group, will see over $2million in cash prizes being doled out tonight when the final concludes at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH).
The winner will pocket $1.2million, second $600,000, third $300,000 and fourth place $100,000.
Admission to the venue is $1000.
