The four time champions, Guyana Jaguars, heads out from Wednesday 2nd January, 2019 to continue on round three of the 2018/2019 CWI PCL 4-Day tournament with the aim of conquering their fifth consecutive title. In Round three the team will face the Barbados Pride at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
The thirteen member squad is as follow: Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Chandrapaul Hemraj, Leon Johnson, Vishaul Singh, Raymon Reifer, Christopher Barnwell, Sherfane Rutherford, Anthony Bramble, Romario Shepherd, Veerasammy Permaul, Clinton Pestano, Gudakesh Motie, and Keon Joseph. The team is led by Manager/ Assistant Coach, Rayon Griffith while Esuan Crandon stands as the team Coach. Physiotherapist, Neil Barry Jr. will also accompany the team as they embark.
Trevon Griffith, Tevin Imlach and Akshaya Persaud are out in this round. Keemo Paul injured his finger during the last match in Bangladesh, while Devendra Bishoo was still in the USA at the time of selection and Shimron Hetmyer has requested to be rested.
The Guyana Cricket Board wishes the team good luck as they are already back in training after the Christmas holiday.
