The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board opened a plethora of tenders, yesterday, for the purpose of uncovering bids for the procurement of various services for Government and government-affiliated organisations. Among these were security services for the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) in 2019, attracting bids ranging from $134M to $213M.
Region 9 also received bids for the provision of security services for its local government organs.
Other bids included the Rental of Office Buildings for the Ministry of Legal Affairs, for which Hughes Investment Holding Incorporated expressed interest but made no apparent financial bid, leaving that section of the application empty, and the Ministry of Communities for the Upgrade of Internal Access Roads at the Haags Bosch Sanitary Landfill.
