A taxi driver from West Coast Demerara, Mohamed Hoseain, 51, a father of four, has insisted that he has no association with a story that was published in last Sunday’s
edition, on 9th December 2018.
Mr Hoseain said that a US Virgin Islands online news wrongly pulled off his photo from his Facebook account and associated him with three men who were convicted in a major drug bust.
“I am not convicted. I am in Guyana. The online news made a scandalous mistake. The man who is convicted is over 70; I am 51,” Mr Hoseain said.
