Tucville Secondary defeated Central High to win the final of the National Sports Commission AL Sport and Tour Promotions 27th Annual Christmas Term school boys Windball Cricket Tournament which was played recently at National Gymnasium.
Central High managed 84-1, batting first with J. Thomas scoring 56. Tucville responded with 88-1; Keron Wright made 42 and Dwayne Jones 25.
Earlier, Central High made 55-5, Deonarine Tiwari got 38; Dwayne Jones captured 4-10. Tucville Secondary replied with 60-2, Keron Wright scored 26; Tiwari had 2-46.
East Ruimveldt Secondary posted 110-4, Osaze Forbes made 45.
Carmel Secondary were limited to 94-3 with Jamal Da Santos scoring 42.
Carmel got to 64-4, Simenon Allicock hit 29. Tucville responded with 69-1; D Jones got 45.
Central High rattled up 118-0; Tiwari struck 60 and Joshua Thomas 50. East Ruimveldt were restricted to 76-4, Timothy Prescott made 31; Tiwari had 2-15 and Thomas 2-21.
In an exhibition match, Natural Resources took first strike and scored 65-3; T. Franklin made 22; M. Crawford took two wickets. GDF replied with 66-1, A. Thomas stroked 50.
Central High managed 123-1, Dolchan Thomas struck 42 and Joshua Hamilton 22. Soesdyke got to 98-4 in reply. Devone Williams slammed 58; Tiwari snared 4- 38.
Tucville piled up 137 without loss; Dwayne Jones stroked 83.
East Ruimveldt mustered 55-3 in response. A. Allen made 32. Central High scored 111-2 with J. Hamilton scoring 74.
Soesdyke managed 103-4, in reply. Ronaldo Walcott got 23; Tiwari had four wickets.
