As the festive season begins to take shape, army Chief-of-Staff, Brigadier Patrick West, traveled to a number of hinterland locations to meet with soldiers.
On Saturday, December 8, he celebrated with the troops at Camp Kanuku in the border town of Lethem. Yesterday, he was at Location Eteringbang in the Cuyuni.
The soldiers performed several skits and engaged in other cultural activities prior to having lunch.
According to the army, Brigadier West praised the vigilance of the troops posted at the location and urged them to continue to be highly professional in carrying out their task to keep Guyana safe and secure.
