Max Persaud continued to excel as he turned in yet another outstanding performance to emerge as the overall winner when the Lusignan Golf Club hosted the A and R Printery Golf tournament on Saturday last.
Persaud shot 81-69 to take the 10-18 Flight which also handed him the best gross overall title. Shanella Webster took the runner up spot in this flight with 86-71.
The best net overall title went to Pastor Ragnauth who scored 89-66. His performance handed him the hardware in the 19-28 flight, while Maurice Solomon placed second with 96-72.
Kassim Khan scored 81-73 to win the 0-9 flight ahead of Aleem Hussain who chalked 84-75 to land second spot.
Max Persaud said he is delighted with the win which is a result of his commitment. “I cherish this victory because I had to work hard and keep my focus. The competition was of a high level and there was hardly any room for mistakes,” he added.
Persaud expressed gratitude to the sponsors and congratulated the other winners.
