BRIDGETOWN, Barbados,– Guyana Jaguars stormed to a commanding 126 run victory on the fourth and final day of their day/night first round match in the Regional Four-Day Championship yesterday.
After closing the third day on 54-2 with 293 to get for a victory, the Windward Islands eventually folded for 222. Alick Athanaze stayed to the end of the innings to be not out on 64, while Dennis Smith made 38 in a stubborn fight back with Athanaze with five wickets down. Taryck Gabriel also made 34.
Scores: At the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium (Gros Islet): Volcanoes lost by 126 runs.
