The Titans Table Tennis Club will close off its 2018 Calendar of activities with a ‘Play to Conquer’ Junior tournament on December 16 and 17 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH).
The top junior athletes are all expected to participate with the exception of Jonathan Van Lange and Krystian Sahadeo who are on a one month tour of the USA.
The likes of Thuraia Thomas, Jasmine Billingy, Kaysan Ninvalle, Jomal Nichols and Isaiah Layne are expected to ‘duke it out’ for top honours across the U-18, U-15, U-13, U-11 and U-9 Categories respectively. Additionally, recreational players of all ages are invited to compete in the ‘B’ Class competition.
Meanwhile, President of the Titans TTC, Dwain Dick expressed gratitude to the National Sports Commission for their sponsorship and endorsement of the event and all their previous events in the past year.
He noted; “It’s our last event for the year, we can say we had a very active year after hosting three tournaments and a summer camp.”
He also extended thanks to the Guyana Table Tennis Association for yet again collaborating and working with the Titans TTC.
Action will begin at 10:00hrs on both game days.
