A 27-year-old maintenance worker was on Friday remanded to prison after he was charged for robbery.
Adam Duncan denied the charge that was read to him by Senior Magistrate Fabayo Azore in the Georgetown Magistrates Courts.
The charge alleged that on November 7, 2018 at Agricola he robbed Sahid Mohamed of one gold chain valued at $250,000 and $120,000 in cash.
Police Prosecutor objected to bail for Duncan based on the seriousness of the offence. Senior Magistrate Fabayo Azore complied. Duncan is to return to court on the 12 December.
