Nairon Rambacchus, called “Kevin”, a Vigilance Court assistant, of 32 Foulis, Enmore Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara, was on Thursday
slapped with 100 charges of larceny by clerk or servant, by Magistrate Peter Hugh, at the same court he worked for (Vigilance Magistrate’s Court).
Rambacchus was charged after it was found that some $6,960,103 was missing from the office attached to the court that he worked with. An investigation was done and based on advice the charges were laid.
Rambacchus was placed on $500,000 bail on one charge, and self-bail on 99 other charges, the matter was adjourned to January 17.
