Round’s two and three of the Smalta Girls Under-11 Pee Wee football tournament will continue today from 12:30hrs to 17:00hrs at the Ministry of
Education (MOE) ground, Carifesta Avenue.
This afternoon’s play will see defending champions South Ruimveldt which opened their title defence last week with a brace from 2017 MVP Fayon Henry scoring both goals in the team’s 2-0 win over Genesis Primary playing St. Stephen’s Primary, the other opening game features Genesis and Mae’s. A total of 12 games are scheduled to be played.
The winning school will receive $200,000, second $100,000, third $75,000 and fourth $50,000, all towards a project of the school’s choice.
