Police are currently conducting an investigation into who is the owner of a 12 gauge shotgun
and 10 live cartridges, found in the interior along with a 9mm pistol and 10 live rounds.
Police ranks from the E-Division on Friday last around 08:15 hrs, acting on information raided an abandoned shack at Mango Landing, Upper Demerara-Berbice. Upon conducting a search the ranks found the mentioned articles.
To date, no one has been arrested but the force has ordered an investigation into the ownership of the weapon and ammunition.
