Banks DIH Limited has honoured 19 employees in recognition of their 20 years of service to the Company. The occasion was the Annual 20-Year-Club Luncheon held on Friday at Thirst Park.
It was attended by over 200 employees who are members of the 20-Year-Club.
Employees honoured belonged to the beverage warehouse, accounts department, the soft drink plant, materials handling, Qik serve, Linden Indoor, vehicle workshop, general workshop, Trisco administration, OMG, liquor sales/ beverage supervision, tropical mist, beer bottling plant and Julian Jordan bakery.
The employees honoured were Anand Charran, Dexter Mayers, Colvon Sam, Michael Murray, Rawle Williams, Quincy Thomas, Neil Parris, Patricia Blackman, Francine De Abreu, Persaud Ramdhanie, Germine McKoy, Garth Ralph, Henry Merchant, Bernard Johnson, Romesh Persaud, Maurice Payne, Godfrey Searles, and Stephen Gulliver.
Gold pins were presented to the recipients by Clifford Reis, Chairman/Managing Director while the feature remarks were offered by Director Mr. Ramesh Dookoo, Business Development Executive.
He said that the inductees should value their contribution to the Company by sharing the culture of hard work, dedication, creativity, respect, good employment conditions and charity.
He paid special tribute to Mr. Reis and Executive Directors – Messrs. George McDonald, Michael Pereira, Andrew Carto and Shabir Hussein for their continued stewardship of the Company.
