Dear Editor,
My dear Guyanese, it is with great sadness and determination that I pen this offer to you after learning that you are leaderless and despotic having lost confidence in both sides of the divide of the political spectrum and getting disappointing results each time.
It is obvious that there is need for inspirational leadership devoid of material aggrandizement and political baggage and the yearning for a leader like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King , Nelson Mandela, etc.
At this juncture of our history, it appears as if there is no one to fit the shoe.
I am hereby offering myself as a Presidential candidate for 2020 election under the banner of “Guyana first” and will enter a contract with the Guyanese people to manage Guyana affairs “pro – bono”, that is free of salary save for 1 G $ per annum, and provide that inspiration that will bring our people together as one and give the true meaning of serving the people is a number one priority.
As a minibus driver with more than 25 years dedicated service to my country, I can do a better job. What else can be a greater duty than to serve and inspire my fellow countrymen and rekindle their hopes and dreams and let my service and inspiration dwell in their hearts and souls for generations to come.
Let’s hear of your support for one of your own so we can start this great journey together.
Sincerely
Minibus Driver
