Hi Stars are going after their first win against the unbeaten Net Rockers who are seeking to maintain their drive towards winning the Upper Demerara Football Association’s GTT 2017/18 Senior League championship tonight in game one of a double header feature at 19:00 hrs at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground. The other brings together Botafago against Blueberry Hill at 21.00 hrs.
The game should see Hi Stars face an uphill task against Rockers who have two games remaining and seek another win and push their arch rivals Eagles United into a must win situation when they also play their seventh game on Friday night.
Rockers are highly favoured to get past Hi Stars since they have lost six games played so far, while Rockers look for a seventh win.
In the other game Botafago are seeking their second win in six games as they have three more nights in the league championship and are looking to finish above their second to last place at the moment.
They have four points from one win, one draw and three losses. They face Blueberry Hill who will complete their campaign having played seven games, won twice, and have five defeats for seven points.
On Friday Botafago face Winners Connection and Eagles United face Amelia’s Ward Panthers.
