Road fatalities are continuing. A motorist with no care for others will force his way through traffic and cause an accident. He will collide with a large truck.
The casualties will rise and the authorities will continue to emphasise the need for proper road use.
Young criminals are forcing the police to place plainclothes ranks in areas known to be hotspots for petty criminals who are a nuisance to ordinary road users.
But the police action will spark an outcry from certain sections of the society that benefit from the criminal activity.
An outing will end in a fatality because some people in a vehicle, all of them inebriated, will crash. The issue of a designated driver is a long way from catching on.
