Police are preparing to issue wanted bulletins for two suspects in the murder of sex video suspect Sherwin Apple, whose body was found near the Kitty seawalls last April.
A senior police official made this disclosure regarding the individuals, who police have reportedly been unable to locate since Apple’s body was found.
Police have also made applications to acquire phone records which may assist in their investigations.
Kaieteur News understands that one of the “persons of interest” is related to the young woman who appeared in the video with Apple and another man.
Sherwin “Yellow” Apple, 42, was found dead on Tuesday morning on the Kitty seawalls not far from the Celina Resort.
He was lying face-down. Some had suggested that he had ingested a poisonous substance. A postmortem revealed that cause of death was asphyxiation due to drowning, compounded by compression injuries to the neck.
His death occurred a day after police had indicated that he was being sought in relation to a sex video which showed him and another man having sex with a young woman.
There were suggestions that the woman was forced to engage in the act.
Apple had reportedly told family members he was going to reach someone that was calling him to meet and discuss the matter relating to the video.
Police had also arrested the other man in the video.
But the young lady who was seen in the video later, denied that she was the individual in the video.
