An unbeaten 99 from Andrew Samaroo handed Bel Air Rubis a 10-wicket win over Muslim Youth Organisation when the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Friends of Cricket U17 tournament continued on Sunday last at Ogle ground, East Coast, Demerara.
Muslim Youth Organisation batted first after winning the toss and made 132 all out. Zeynul Ramsammy scored 44, Elnathan Sooknandan got 18 and Marlon Boele 14; Andrew Samaroo claimed 3-14 from nine overs, Ravindra Samaroo 3-18 from seven overs and Deveanand Khemraj 2-11 off six were the pick of the Bel Air Rubis bowlers.
Bel Air Rubis responded with 135 without loss in 22 overs. Samaroo struck 12 fours and seven sixes in his innings which came off 63 balls.
