The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board yesterday opened five bids all ranging from $80M to over $100M for the construction of smart stops in nine municipalities across Guyana.
The project was put to tender by the Ministry of Communities and the bids opened were as follows:
Ministry of Communities CIIP –Construction of smart stops in 9 Municipalities
Aside from the construction of smart stops, the board also opened two sets of bids for the construction of living quarters in Linden and Berbice. The construction of these living quarters was put to tender by Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA). The bids opened were:
Guyana Revenue Authority – Construction of Living Quarters, Linden, Region 10
Lotus UK Integrated Communications Limited Did not provide a total cost
Guyana Revenue Authority – Construction of Living Quarters, New Amsterdam Berbice, Region 6
Other bids opened by the board were:
Ministry of Business – Procurement for Market Representative Companies to represent Guyana in the United Kingdom
Bureau of Statistics – Supply and Delivery of computer equipment
Regional Democratic Council Region 4 – Supply and delivery of one brand new Ultra-Sound Machine to the regional stores
Regional Democratic Council Region 2 – Design and Supervision of the Construction of Abram Zuil Secondary School, Abram Zuil, Essequibo Coast
Companies that submitted Financial and Technical Proposals
