Dear Editor,
I received information for transmission to Kaieteur News that the Mabaruma Town Councillors have not received their stipends for three years.
These councillors are very worried that the Mabaruma Town Council may soon be dissolved in view of the upcoming November elections and that they may not receive their stipends.
Can the Mabaruma town clerk say what has become of the Mabaruma Town councillors stipends since it is alleged that he travels to Georgetown regularly to uplift the stipends?
Can the Minister of Communities ensure that the Mabaruma Town councillors receive their stipends before the town council dissolve?
Yours sincerely,
Peter Persaud.
I will eat a piece of Exxon Christmas Cake with your ingredients inside.
