As if the road fatality figure must be at a certain number ever so often there is a spate of road deaths. This trend is going to continue this week with yet another fatality. The victim will be a pedestrian killed by a careless driver.

The issue with the teachers is close to a resolution with the nomination of a team to determine the negotiation. This should have been done a long time ago but for the intransigence of the Education Ministry and the opposition political elements in the Teachers’ Union.
As fate would have it there are teachers who are divided on the action already taken.

The gold mines would record another fatality. Some miners would be travelling to a location when their boat would encounter difficulties. Men and ration would be swept overboard.
