Dear Editor,
Woe unto the inexcusable man, perplexed I am of Attorney-at-Law Ryan Crawford. It seems within the general public that Ryan’s perplexity of comprehension is hard to believe and his colleagues are obviously oblivious or demented with worry.
A Police rank was preforming normal routine checks at the said time one Attorney-at-Law Ryan Crawford was stopped for routine checks because of his “tinted motor vehicle” within the Laws that govern this country.
“Prohibition of Tinted Glass contravention of Section 103 (A)(1) Contrary to Section 103 (ii) of the Motor vehicles and road traffic Act Chapter 51:02 as was amended by 01/1998”.
I vehemently believe it’s prudent that it is within our existing law that an offence has been committed provided that the person committing such act does not fulfill the requirements of having tinted glass despite the legislations governing this.
There is also precedence of other offences such as “indecent Language…” He should be charged for the offences he had committed; the reason is vivid. He was driving his Motor vehicle with tinted glass in such a manner as to obstruct the identification of the driver or persons in the said motor vehicle.
The narcissistic Ryan became annoyed with the police when he was asked to produced his driver’s licence. Under the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act Part V Chapter 51:02 “any person driving a motor vehicle on a road including any person who supervises that person whilst driving shall on being so required by a police constable, produce his licence for examination, so as to enable the police constable to ascertain the name and address of the holder. Who fails so to do shall be guilty of an offence…”
Flamboyant as he seems he became pompous. “I am an attorney; you can go and tell each and every one of the Commanders, the President and the Vice President, you go and tell them whoever you want…”
I do not know about anyone else but I am dumfounded to know one that has a reputation, disrespected the vanguard and epitomized men that are working hard to build this great nation. He was arrogant and condescending and should be disbarred.
An angry Guyanese
