In all her Ministries, Gail Teixeira achieved very little. Health, Home Affairs, Sports and as advisor to the President are some of the portfolios she attained but never excelled. She even usurped the position of Chief Whip at the University of Guyana Council. The worst sojourn was as Minister of Home Affairs, where, amidst the rampage of drugs and home grown terrorism, her solution was as she boldly declared:‘TURN OFF YOUR LIGHTS! DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM THEM! Now this powerful apparatchik from the PPP’s era of Marxism/Leninism aspires for the highest position in the land.
For someone who holds a degree in Political Science, Gail Teixeira was inconceivably trust into the position as Minister of Sport and Culture. It might be superfluous here to ask: What culture does she possess? What sport did she play? Here are a few questions for Guyana’s aspiring president:
• What is your main support base?
• What is your religion (if any)?
• Have you ever been married?
• Who would you chose as Prime Minister?
• Did you ever declare your assets upon assuming high office?
Let’s be pragmatic here. When elections come around in 2020 she would be 70 years of age, and handling the country’s vast oil wealth. Can we be safe in our standing with the oil companies with this Stalinist cadre? In contextual terms, given that her idol, the avowed Marxist Cheddi Jagan, perpetually sounded the bugle for nationalization this creature can no longer glow in the Marxist light of the Jagans. She has been relegated to twelfth man in the team; now she wants to open the batting!

Where is the BETTER MANAGEMENT/RENEGOTIATION OF THE OIL CONTRACTS you promised Jagdeo?
