Led by a five-wicket haul from Ashok Ramjas, Good Success defeated Carr Tech by 23 runs to win the final of the Ontario Softball Cricket League (OSCL) Sue Bakery 15-over tournament which concluded recently.
Imran Khan and Naveed Ali starred with the bat as Good Success managed 123-5 after they were inserted at Ashtonbee Park. Khan slammed 43, while Ali made 31 as Suresh Lall picked up 2-14. Ramjas then picked up 5-18 as Carr Tech were sent packing for 100 in 13.4 overs in reply. Ravendra Madholall scored 41 while Ali supported Ramjas with 2-16.
In an invited comment, Ali extended congratulations to members of the Good Success team and said they worked hard throughout the tournament while their victory is a result of them playing as a unit.
