Dear Editor,
It is about time the Ministry of Public Infrastructure fixes the numerous traffic lights in and around the city which are not working properly and are a traffic menace.
The light, for instance, where I drive every day at the corner of Mandela Avenue and Joseph Pollydore Street has been flashing red, it seems, forever. I have personally seen drivers totally confused at that point.
The lights at the junctions of Sheriff Street are either on or off at peculiar times, which have nothing to do with traffic flow, are not working at all.
Yours sincerely,
Kit Nascimento
