The Management Committee of Transport and General Sports Club headed by Mr. Ivor English President, Vice Presidents Kenrick Fraser & Gladstone George, Secretary Abiola Craig, Asst Sec. Brian Galloway, Treasurer Ms Newland, Asst. Treasurer and Club Captain Mr. Shaun Massiah and Committee member Mr. Richard Samuels made a monetary donation to young Adrian Hinds on his selection to the Guyana U19 Squad to take part in the CWI Regional tournament.
The Management Committee wished Hinds all the best and hopes that he would grasp this opportunity to showcase his talent and skills in helping Guyana to win and retain both titles.
They urged him to be focused and to be his best on and off the field and thanked Dave Jagernauth, Linden Fraser and Derrick Andre Edwards of the USA Tri State Team who made donation of Cricket gears to Adrian.
Adrian joined TSC in 2012 as an 11-year-old and played with passion in all the GCA Competitions from U-13 to U-17.
He scored a brilliant 116 vs DCC and 93 vs GYO in the U-15s and a brutal 90 vs Everest in the U-17 T/20.
Hinds has played both second and first division matches and played with the USA Tri State Team last year and represented North Ruimveldt Multilateral where he performed excellently with the bat, keeping and bowling left arm spin. He played in the GCB Inter County Under-19 tourney. (Sean Devers)
