Enmore Community Centre Cricket Club (ECCCC) and Blairmont Centre Cricket Club (BCCC) will lock horns tomorrow in a 30/30 battle for the inaugural “FREEDOM CUP” at the Enmore community Centre Ground to recognize the emancipation of slaves in 1838.
The executives of the two clubs finalized the event last Saturday, agreeing to build a relationship from this match.
ECCCC and BCCC have only played one match against each other in the last eight years with BCCC winning then by 2 wickets.
Devindra Lalsa was the man of match making 51 and picking up three wickets including the scalp of former West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul who returned to take five wickets.
The entrance for the FREEDOM CUP is free and the crowd will be treated with a 10/10 encounter after the feature game.
The first game is expected to start at 11:00hrs, while the 10/10 game will start at 16:00hrs. Colored clothing, white ball and lighted bails will be used.
There will be other attractions such as Table Tennis Senior and Junior, Cartoon Character Walk around, Live ball by ball updates by Inderjeet Persaud.
