The Guyana Cup Horserace meet 2018 is set to be the biggest in the event’s history with over $15 million in cash and prizes up for grabs. The August 19th event is gaining traction both locally and overseas with a few sponsors throwing their support behind the event.
The latest entities that have made tangible contributions to the horserace meet are long-serving racing patrons Rohan Auto Spares and B.M. Soat Auto Sales.
Sales representative of B.M. Soat, Wazim Mohammad handed over the sponsorship cheque to organiser Roy Jafarally last week, in a simple but significant ceremony at the company’s Croal Street office.
Meanwhile, the Rohan Auto Spares’ presentation was done at their Mahaica, East Coast Demerara branch.
Also throwing support behind the Guyana Cup recently have been Discount Store, Hand-in-hand Insurance, Superbet, Gizmos and Gadgets and Mazi nightclub of the USA.
