In the Sunday’s edition of Kaieteur News, a front page photo raised questions about the actions of the Guyana Post Office Corporation. The photograph in question indicated that homeless persons were being wet by installed sprinklers. The photo was sent to us.
To our deep regret, that photo was taken two years ago but the sender suggested that the situation was current.
That photo and caption cast a very negative light on the Corporation. We do sincerely apologise.
